C3IT Software Solutions Private Ltd was part of the India Pavilion at the International ICT Expo HK 2010 organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, held on 13-16 April 2010. Sarika Malhotra (Chief Technology Officer) and Vikas Malhotra (Chief Marketing Officer) represented C3IT. They had business meetings with a large number of companies from HK, Middle East, Europe, Canada and the US. There was considerable interest in C3IT’s workflow products and services for Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics and Business Intelligence.

C3IT and Techmarq jointly sponsored a seminar on March 25th in Amsterdam titled "Internationalisering En Global Sourcing".

The key theme was "The world is getting smaller - and this creates increasing challenges. Globalization is also an opportunity. In the current economic situation, with increasing competition and cost pressures. These are strategic benefits, including access to new markets, offering new opportunities for IT services and product innovation. There are also opportunities in terms of cost-cutting through offshore sourcing, and process flexibility."

The International IT Exhibition & Conference 10-12 March 2010 was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan organized by the ministry of Commerce & Industry Government of India.

There were around 151 foreign delegates from 40 countries.

Vikas Malhotra (Chief Marketing Officer) and Sudan Keskar(Vice President) attended the IT Exhibition and conference on behalf of C3IT . C3IT’s services were of interest to a number of delegates from Spain, France, Germany and Latam region and there were good discussions on around possible opportunities for partnership. Representatives from 2 of the visiting companies also visited C3IT’s development centre during the same trip.

C3IT partners with IPMC, one of West Africa's largest IT companies with 400+ workforce spread over 19 locations. C3IT and IPMC will together provide deployment, technical support, configuration and solution development services to the Ghana market. The services will cover the entire suite of Microsoft products.

C3IT exhibited at Pune Expo2009 one of the largest Integrated International Business Exhibitions of India from 4th Oct -8th Oct organized by MCCIA (Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture). Various delegations from UK, Germany, Italy, etc attended this event to forge business in India. C3IT's primary focus was to step into the market providing services in Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM product sales and customization.

Attaining the Microsoft Business Intelligence competency C3IT can help customers leverage the data they’re already collecting to build more-effective business strategies and showcase their skills in designing, deploying, and customizing business-intelligence offerings.

C3IT will be providing Solutions in Microsoft® Dynamics NAV, AX and CRM that will help organizations drive down costs, improve operations, retain and build customer relationships and continue to innovate in challenging economic times.

C3IT achieves Microsoft® Gold Certification in Data Management Solutions. The Data Management Solutions competency is designed for partners who specialize in database applications developed on Microsoft® technology, including the enhanced Microsoft® SQL Server 2008 data platform.

In its quest to continuously expand its network and visibility in the German ICT market, C3IT has recently gained affiliation to the Indo-German Network, Karlsruhe, Germany. The International Department of Karlsruhe University, Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, and Karlsruhe's Economic Development Office have created this cluster which is based in the city of Karlsruhe in the Baden Wϋrttemberg region near Stuttgart, South Germany, an important hub of ICT industry with more than 3000 IT companies based in and around the city. The Indo-German Network provides an important platform for opinion formers and decision makers from ICT industry and science who are active in India to exchange their experiences & promote bilateral trade. The Indo-German Network Karlsruhe is actively working to raise the level of awareness of Karlsruhe as a location for business, science, and trade fairs, to promote Karlsruhe in India, and to assist companies in entering the market in India. German ICT Companies interested in the Indian market can use this network as an important conduit to get deeper information about India. On the other hand, the Network is open for Indian companies looking for a hub in Germany.

Logosworld.com is an association of small expert IT consultancies and advisors for software integration, custom development and multi-national project management for SOA implementations and SAP ERP software. With an agile network in Europe, Asia and America, they help solve the problems of multi-site software implementations. C3IT and Logosworld will work together to offer IT consultancy, Software integration and Custom development services.

C3IT and Huacomm signed an MOU to actively promote C3IT's Business Consulting and IT Outsourcing Services to potential customers in Asia Pacific regions. C3IT will also work towards bringing Huacomm’s Web Application Security Assessment Service and the powerful Web Application Vulnerability Assessment Software Tool - "Exazor" to the Indian market.

Sarika Malhotra, Chief Technology Officer, C3IT Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. spoke at the seminar on "IT Services Outsourcing - The Strategy for Global Competitiveness” on the 13th of April 2009, at International ICT Expo 2009, Hong Kong.

Sarika spoke about how the flattening of the world has made it imperative that “businesses” see the big picture of outsourcing and design a sound globalization strategy to compete in today’s economy.

A manufacturing company in Ghana with six subsidiaries needed implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning System in order to replace the paper based systems which are currently in place. They decided to go in for a custom ERP as against implementing an off the shelf ERP as their needs are extremely specific and off the shelf products do not handle the specific regulatory needs of the local market.

An RFP was floated by Datatec Group who are their IT Consultants and after 2 rounds of short-listing, C3IT was awarded this project based on the overall quality of documentation provided, costing and capability for undertaking such huge projects.

Sona Koyo Steering Systems Limited (SKSSL) the flagship company of the Sona Group is currently the largest manufacturer of steering systems for the passenger car and utility vehicle market in India. Its collaborator and partner, JTEKT Corporation, is the market leader in Japan and in the recent past announced a merger with Toyota Machine Works. Post this merger, JTEKT will become the world's largest steering systems manufacturer. The Sona Group footprint extends to Eastern Europe and South America.

Jamaica’s Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector received a very good response from the Indian Investors to access the feasibility of projects including the establishment of Technology Park and an offshore call centre. This event was hosted by Jamaica Trade and Invest (JTI) at New Kingston, with the key objective to forge business relationships in emerging IT market of South Asia.

Anil Madhok, Director & Chief Executive Officer of C3IT Software Solutions was one of the Indian delegates who attended the meet. He showed interest in establishing an offshore center in Jamaica to be located close to tertiary education institutions to better source employees who he would seek to train under internship programme.

C3IT GmBH, based out of Berlin, was incorporated in June 2008 to offer Offshore Software Development and Consulting Services with German Project Management.

The company’s founder director, Volker U. Friedrich is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience in international industry and trade. He worked for German industrial giant Kloeckner in the industrial contracting business (today RWE and MAN Group respectively) and as Senior Consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Volker is the founder Director of C3IT Software Solutions GmbH and responsible for strategic initiatives of the company in Germany and other European countries. He is located in Berlin, Germany and also operates from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for part of the year.

The second founder of C3IT GmBH is Herbert Haberl. Herbet’s credibility as business leader, management consultant and sales trainer sources on his 20+ years experience in the information and telecommunications industry.

He has headed domestic (Germany, Singapore) and international (Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia) sales and marketing organizations for market leaders like Nixdorf, Sony, DeTeWe, Deutsche Telekom, Dialog Software Asia, Orga Sagem etc.

Herbert is a founder and strategic advisor to C3IT Software Solutions GmbH and leads all sales & marketing initiatives of the company in Germany and other European countries. He is located in Berlin, Germany.

C3IT has been an early adopter of new technologies that are released from time to time by Microsoft. C3IT has already executed a couple of projects using the .Net 3.5 Framework and SQL Server 2008. Our technology groups also quickly developed expertise on the Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) and Silverlight building applications that are very rich on the look and feel and usability aspect.

C3IT participated at INDIASOFT 2008 and made its presence felt through its booth located in the exhibition area showcasing the experience & services to participants from Latin America, Europe, CIS Countries & Africa. The company was ably represented by Anil Madhok (CEO) & Sarika Malhotra (CTO) who had more than 20 very productive meetings with prospective IT service buyers.

As an outcome of its participation at the event, C3IT has already managed to forge a partnership with two companies, one in The Netherlands and one in El Salvador, opening a vast window of opportunities in the Latin American markets. Discussions are already underway for three pilot projects.

Costa Rica Technology Insight 2008(March 6th and 7th 2008, Costa Rica, South America)

One of the largest ICT events held annually on the Latin American continent, the 5th International Communication and IT Summit held at San Jose, Costa Rica was a unique opportunity for exploring the IT markets in South America. C3IT exhibited its IT & ITeS service offering during the 2-day event through its booth located in the India Pavilion with Anil Madhok (CEO), representing the company. Anil had a packed schedule at the event with close to 25 one-to-one meetings with various IT service and product companies who expressed keen interest in engaging with C3IT.

The event was extremely productive for C3IT with preparations already on for commencing work on Pilot projects for two buyers as a precursor to forging long-term business associations.

The German IT Round-Table 2008

The German IT Round-Table is an annual event aimed at providing Indian and German software SME companies a high-level networking platform in Germany for pursuing partnerships and co-operation. The event was organized by the Indo-German Software Competence Network (InGeSCoN) which is a network of German and Indian software companies that view India and Germany as potential export and sourcing markets.

C3IT was one of the 30 participating German and Indian companies at this event. Vikas Malhotra (COO) represented C3IT and active discussions are underway for new partnerships on March 4th, 2008, at Stuttgart, Germany.
